Weapons were left unattended in Compton Crescent
Two shotguns which were the subject of a police appeal yesterday (6th January) have now been recovered.
They were left unattended in Compton Crescent in Chiswick on 28th December. Police issued a photograph of a man with a dog who they believed might have been able to provide information about their whereabouts. The police said they were hopeful that the guns had been picked up by a good Samaritan who intended to return them.
The police thanked the public and the media for their assistance in getting these guns returned.
