Fans of Tarantella on Elliott Road will be pleased to learn that reports of its demise have been premature.

After taking a month-long break to launch a new venue in Richmond, the owners have reopened their Chiswick restaurant this week.

Luciana Palmieri said, “We are returning to where it all began—and doing so with great joy. We open for dinner this Friday (18 September) at 6 PM, and we look forward to celebrating by raising a glass of Prosecco with our loyal customers.”

The pizza and pasta restaurant has been a local favourite for nearly two decades. It is known for its homemade tiramisu and freshly baked bread.

Reports of closure following the announcement that the restaurant's team was focusing on a new venue on the Kew Road, Sudi. This is focused on the flavours of Puglia, the region of Italy where Luciana grew up. It is on olive-themed restaurant which will boast an olive-oil sommelier.

Tarantella is at 4 Elliott Road, W4 1PE.
