New Hotel Plans for Hammersmith

Extension for Holiday Inn Express plus New Apart-Hotel

Hammersmith could soon have over 60 new hotel rooms.

In King Street, Somerston Hotels have submitted plans to add an extension to the Holiday Inn Express.

The scheme, designed by Moxley Architects, involves the demolition of the rear car park, and its replacement with a four storey block with a car park at ground level and 46 new rooms on the upper floors.

In Glenthorne Road meanwhile, Avni Hotels have submitted plans for a new Apart-Hotel in Glenthorne Road.

Avni have submitted plans through Crosswood Ltd for a four storey building to replace the existing buildings at 28 - 36 Glenthorne Road to provide a Premier West apartment hotel. This scheme was designed by Papa Architects.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council is expected to give its verdict shortly on both companies' plans.
